Halo: Campaign Evolved locks Tuesday, July 28, 2026 (8am PDT) as Halo Studios’ Unreal Engine 5 remake of the 2001 Combat Evolved story — the original ten missions plus Operation: METEORITE. Xbox Series, PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5 launch together, with Game Pass Ultimate / PC Game Pass day one and Play Anywhere between Xbox and Windows Store.
Premium and Collector buyers start July 23 at the same 8am PDT clock. That early-access window is the one that matters if you already paid for Foundry Armory cosmetics; Standard / Game Pass players hold for the 28th.
Confirmed: CE campaign remake + METEORITE — not MCC 2.0 and not Infinite Ranked
Master Chief Collection already hosts Anniversary-era CE. Campaign Evolved is a ground-up rebuild aimed at modern hardware and four-player networked co-op, not another playlist toggle inside MCC. Infinite’s multiplayer seasons are a different live-service calendar — do not merge their patch Tuesdays with this July 28 unlock.
