February 18, 2027 brings Inaba back in UE5 — day-one Game Pass included
Persona 4 Revival ships Thursday, February 18, 2027. P-Studio’s remake rebuilds the countryside murder mystery — fog, Midnight Channel, Personas forged through bonds — with Unreal Engine 5 presentation aimed at parity with Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, and Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Xbox players get day-one Game Pass and Play Anywhere; PlayStation and Steam buyers get the same global Thursday. Japanese voice actors return; the English dub is a full recast (Nazeeh Tarsha as the protagonist, new Yosuke/Chie/Yukiko/Rise/Marie, and more).
Confirmed: Golden-based remake — not Persona 6, not a Switch SKU yet
Confirmed: Feb 18 2027, PS5 / Xbox Series / PC, Game Pass day one, Golden content as the story base, new combat toys like Prime Time / Series Finale, MAPPA for animated cutscenes. Not confirmed: Switch 2, a female protagonist route like fan wishes after P3R, or that every Golden dungeon layout is 1:1. P4 Arena fighters are a different branch.

Before February 18 — pick a stack and a fog playlist
- Decide Game Pass vs buy: Xbox/PC subscribers can day-one; PS5 needs a purchase.
- If you want Play Anywhere, buy Microsoft Store — Steam is a separate PC license.
- Replay Golden only if you want spoiler-free nostalgia; Revival assumes Golden’s narrative extras.
- Expect new English voices — original EN cast was not asked back.
- Do not confuse this countdown with Persona 6 rumor months or Arena round announcements.
Unlike Persona 3 Reload, Revival starts from the enhanced Golden cut — not the bare PS2 original
Reload remade Persona 3 but left some expanded-version extras outside the base package. Atlus has been explicit that Revival is adapting Persona 4 Golden’s story and additions from day one — Marie, dungeon extras, and the rest of the Vita-era fullness are the foundation, not a later DLC promise.
That choice is why February 18 is a Golden countdown, not a “which version?” trap. If your memory is PS2-only Persona 4, you are still getting the larger Inaba year — rebuilt, not stripped back.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this release date.
1When does Persona 4 Revival launch?
February 18, 2027 simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam + Microsoft Store). Atlus locked the Thursday at the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase; pre-orders opened the same window.
2Is it on Game Pass, and is Switch included?
Day-one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with Xbox Play Anywhere for Microsoft Store owners. Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 are not part of the announced platform set — treat handheld rumors as unverified.
3Is this a remake of Persona 4 or Persona 4 Golden?
Atlus is remaking Persona 4 Golden’s story and additions from the start — unlike Persona 3 Reload, which left some enhanced-version extras out of the base remake. Expect Midnight Channel investigation, Social Links, and Golden’s Marie-era content as the foundation.
4Is this Persona 6?
No. Revival is a modern rebuild of the 2008/2012 Inaba mystery before Persona 6. Same Investigation Team, new UE5 presentation, QoL borrowed from P5 Royal, P3 Reload, and Metaphor — not a new numbered mainline.
